Mavenspire Lights Up Annapolis!
Mavenspire had, not one, but two representatives at the recent Ignite Annapolis held at the Loews Annapolis Hotel Powerhouse. Jessica Tanenhaus did an entertaining presentation on creating super secure passwords that are easy to remember. (See our Tip of the Month for the quickie version.) Melissa Cavanaugh presented her ideas about how science can potentially be influenced by art. Videos of the presentations willl be posted on YouTube, and we'll give the links once we have them.

On to the news...

Support is... Well, You Know...
Written by Michael Tanenhaus
I had the opportunity to review the support given by four of our vendor partners not long ago. I was struck by the state of things. Generally we saw 15 minutes to get an answer, 2 days to get in touch with someone with knowledge to answer the question. Not a good sign.
I think that the true measure of the quality of a support organization is how they act and react in a crisis situation. My recent experiences have revealed three specific crisis strategies.

TIP OF THE MONTH:
Creating a Super Secure Password That Anyone Can Remember
Written by Jessica Tanenhaus
I've had this idea for an article on super secure passwords that anyone can remember for a while. More recently, I did a presentation for Ignite Annapolis on this same subject. It's actually a really great method, easy and effective. This is useful for anyone who wants to have really secure passwords, without having the pain of trying to remember these insanely complex formulas for them.
