Mavenspire's New Offices!

We at Mavenspire are so pleased to be expanding into our new location in Annapolis, MD. The new space is larger to accommodate our growing range of offerings and services. The new location will have an expanded testing center and training area as well as a video conferencing room which can be rented. These dedicated spaces will give our businesspartners the ability to hold their own training and conferencing in our facility. Most importantly, there are so many great places to eat around there!

Storage Announcements from Compellent's C-Drive

Compellent has some exciting things going on. Many of you made it to C-Drive this year, so this is most likely just a recap, but for those of you who didn’t make it, here’s a brief highlight of some of the biggest announcements. As you’ll learn, there are some ambitious changes and upgrades due this year and the early part of 2010, not the least of which is the upcoming release of Storage Center 5.0. But in addition to a firmware upgrade, there are probably more, and in my opinion, more exciting, changes coming to the hardware side

Unified Communications: Investment or Expense?

Recently I was asked for an opinion regarding the actual direct and indirect cost benefits of Unified Communications. For those that dont know - unified communications defines the set of technologies (email, phone (voip), video conferencing, IM, faxing, etc) that people can use to communicate with each other all integrated together in a simple to access framework. This framework is designed to increase personal productivity by making everyday tasks take less time to accomplish and to reduce corporate costs by eliminating or reducing certain overheads such as phone bills.
